This standard I-Beam bridge crosses Linn Creek in Marshalltown.
Built in approximately 1930, the bridge features a single I-Beam span, set onto timber piers. The approaches are constructed of timber trestle spans.
It is unknown if the main span was originally fabricated elsewhere, or if it was installed here new.
Overall, the bridge appears to be in fair condition. Due to the channelized nature of Linn Creek in this area, it is unknown if this bridge will be replaced. A decorative cover has been added, and it currently carries a local trail.
The author has ranked this bridge as being locally significant, due to the common design.
